Glad you guys like what I put up...looks like the changes are beginning out to the east of us with something coming off Africa as noted in a later post today. The SAL looks like it is starting to let up, not to mention the dry air is not as prominent in the Atlantic, steering layers right now have anything that does develop head into the gulf, not to mention the shear is quite low. The waters off the coast of Africa are even starting to warm up.
Anything that does develop IMO will head to the gulf and I say this only because of that High that is sitting on top of the SE bringing us triple digit temperatures. Uggg....
Today marks 17 days this year above 100 in the state of SC and indices into 110 range. *blech* |
