Recon missions performed by Taiwan only sample around the storm for that data to be inputted into models I assume, but I do have that sonde data available here for the mission on Wednesday:

Nothing on the surface wind speed in the eyewall or central pressure in the eye, just obs from around the storm.

You can however test a new 3-D display, using Cesium, that I have there. Under the "Map" column, click the icon between the two Google Earth icons. I don't have it available for live missions yet, where the display updates in real time by just leaving the browser open, but I do have this early display I launched on June 27th that doesn't reload the mission data automatically. It doesn't require a plugin. It will replace the Google Earth plugin which is no longer supported and doesn't work on many browsers. The Cesium display does not work in Internet Explorer 10 or earlier.

The amount of changes I have made to the recon system in the past few weeks, with many more to come, have made the system very unstable, though it did work for this mission. I have not added this version of the system to HurricaneCity yet. I am trying to get it more stable, and have live missions available, before I add it to HurricaneCity. Probably within a week or so I might have it at HC.

It's an early version of the display. There will be a lot more satellite options. I also want to add the time of the satellite imagery from SSEC's Real Earth ( https://realearth.ssec.wisc.edu/  ) since it can be an hour to an hour and half old for some of the imagery.
