Bonnie continues its issues. It's a tropical storm without much of anything at the center.

Radar:
https://www.wunderground.com/weather-radar/united-states/nc/wilmington/ltx/
(Then select 248 NMI range)

While there are some wind gusts near tropical storm force just off the coast, the center may or may not make landfall. It might stay just offshore or not even survive. (I just looked at various wind observations at Weather Underground, there might be some I missed. Wundermap)

Interestingly, not only does Jim have two picks (Wilmington and Cape Hatteras), including a top 5 (Hatteras), in the path, it is also taking a track like he had with his city picks.

I don't know if either pick will count though because it might be a depression or dissipated perhaps. Although if it can continue to be offshore and parallel the coast, it might have just enough energy to last against the shear. But maybe not for the top 5 pick. (Cape Hatteras) I think Jim might have to wait on that one.

Shear text outputs:

Shear at CIMSS:

Although as people have stated elsewhere, that map is not currently doing well showing the shear with this storm.
