Intense Cyclone Fantala 175mph CAT 5

Fantala has become the 10th most intense cyclone in Southwest Indian Ocean basin, with a pressure of 910mb. It could still bottom out a little further, as the night/early morning progresses. The winds in Fantala are the highest sustained one minute and ten minute winds ever recorded in that basin.
If there is any good that can be gained from this storm, it's that it isn't forecast to come near any lands and it is a fairly compact system, compared to others.
No doubt, it is a monster though. |
