I love the sea and have always wanted to go on a cruise, but my husband is very uncomfortable in and on the water, and thus, of course, a cruise ship is the last place he'd want to be. Still he's said (probably because he knows I'd like to do it) that he's tried to convince himself, but every time he gets close to being ready, a shipboard illness pops up. And now this!! I'm sure he'll never go, and I've lost almost all my interest as well.
How can it be, we wonder, that there are now still -- and will continue to be -- thousands and thousands of people booking these cruises, such that bigger and bigger ships are being built?? It's pretty amazing, we think, that the cruise industry continues to grow. |
