Re: a nice shot from TCEQ

I'm looking forward to some more rain. I got about a half inch this month so far and about the same in December.

I have to remember to look an hour earlier. I forget that. It was about 8:15am EST and I was testing something on my site when I noticed the red text for Alex and thought what went wrong when I saw it at 75 knots. My site only updates every half hour and when the NHC updates best track data normally at 12Z it should be 8:30am to 9:00am when the data comes in. But that is during most of the hurricane season in the Eastern Time Zone when we are on Daylight Saving Time. So the data actually updated at 7:30am EST. I had not even bothered to check much yet. (I was checking at times  earlier just in case they updated the previous positions.)

5 knots higher and this would tie the strength for strongest hurricane in January. (which is 80 knots for Alice in 1954)
