Deadly week of U.S. tornadoes; 2.5 times more people died this week than entire year

Only 10 people had died so far this year through mid-December from tornadoes:

Had the year ended that way, it would have been the lowest death toll on record.

Sadly over twice as many deaths have now occurred in the past week. 25 so far. There's probably a lot of people thinking about the holidays this time of year and not about the severe weather possibilities. It probably made it an especially deadly week.
