Number five talks about Florida's tornado threat in strong El Nino years.

Florida has been rather warm for the past few months and in parts, dry. Dry in central Florida but very wet in parts of southern Florida.

I guess the past two strong El Nino's have been warmer than the previous couple ones across a lot of the U.S.

It seems Florida has been getting warmer and warmer with each strong El Nino.

If we keep some of this heat around and get some strong fronts early next year, we might just see more severe weather like 1998.

A beautiful summer day in Tampa today. Tied a record high today. 85.

My plumeria are putting on leaves and some are blooming nicely. They are thoroughly confused.

It's funny, downtown Tampa has a temporary outdoor ice rink ( http://www.tampasdowntownonice.com/ ) and they have a live webcam there now.

You can sit back and watch the ice melt.
