Just made it to a hurricane

There is no recon, but based on satellite data they upgraded it. Flight level recon and satellite data last night indicated it might be a hurricane, but surface winds by dropsonde and SFMR surface estimates did not support it at the time.

The forward motion is now over half the wind speed. Winds of 75mph and moving at 40mph.
