Yes, I am watching all you guys and your analysis. These models truly live up to their name of spaghetti, don't they?
Winds, even TS ones could be a problem. We are so, so wet and much more rain not related to the storm will fall in the next couple of days. Uprooting of trees may become a big issue. it really feels like New Orleans or FL here today...very sticky and humid.
Cloudy 76°F Feels Like: 76° Wind Chill: 76° Ceiling: 1400 Heat Index: 76° Visibility:7.02mi Dew Point: 73° Wind: 6mph Humidity: 91% Direction: 200°SSW Pressure: 29.77" Gusts: NA
Taking off out of Norfolk on a 0600 Monday flight to Philly and then drive to NJ is looking less and less smart. Anyone know where I can find the Tropical Storm conditions that are posted by the Navy for Norfolk?
Not sure what condition...if any, we are at yet. But, as you all know, they try and take ships that they can...out to sea and fly out a lot of aircraft for both the Navy and the Airforce. The way this is coming...they will need to get out soon so they can sail ahead of it....directly east quite a ways. |
