Dunno what to tell you, Aqua, but others far more knowledgeable than I will doubtless respond.  Hope you'll be OK......

And here I was concerned about the remnants of the Yucatan wave moving into northwest Virginia for the Saturday, October 3 outdoor memorial service for our  beloved counselor at my old summer camp.   If the center of Joaquin follows the left side of the (granted currently very wide) cone, Saturday afternoon/evening could be a doozy in the mountain valleys.   And the NHC allows in the 11 p.m. discussion as how, "The official intensity forecast [65 mph tropical storm] is raised from the previous one, but is lower than the intensity model consensus at days 3-5."   Ugh!!!!   I'm glad I'm not planning a trip there, but too many other friends are.   This could be a minor disaster.
