I only use McAfee WebAdvisor to determine what links are good or bad. It blocks you from visiting most bad links. It rates things either green, yellow or red. It color codes search results too. If something is not rated green it asks you before you visit if you want to visit the site. It's not perfect, but it's pretty good. (the negative: asks if you want to enable Safe Search sometimes, which sets your search engine to Yahoo)

But I don't use anything else from them. I use Comodo for everything else. (the negative: GeekBuddy and Comodo Dragon browser install if you do not specifically opt out. The programs are fine, but not needed. It used to be a little more advanced to use than other programs, but it is much easier now, probably as basic as anything else. Only if you turn on something called HIPS do you get extra popups about things trying to be accessed that are probably always fine. I use the safe mode version of that feature and I still rarely get popups.)

I have used other programs in the past, including standalone antispyware programs that I still occasionally use, but nothing has ever gotten past Comodo yet.
