I sure think "dissipated" is the wrong word and very misleading at this point.  If what we see had just fired up, we would have a strong wave awaiting a little separation from the mountains of eastern Cuba to blow up.  The 1200Z models sure see something.  All just "Interpolated" (Imaginary?)??  Not sure we have airborne or radar coverage to see near-north shore-cuba circulation.  Still, I sure accept "no-closed-circulation", but not sure how we "restart" this one when it, inevitably, refires.  A new name?  It's not going to look good in retrospect.  The original storyline was it became very weak crossing Hispanola, but had clear sailing as it approached the Bahamas and beyond.  Just a little too close to Cuba for that to have any validity now?  Having trouble seeing it that way.  Whatever is there is clearing Cuba.
