But it might not actually have a closed low any more. It never did have a great spin. It could change though.
Recon can't really get close enough to Cuba probably, but the obs the NHC is looking at from over Cuba seem to indicate it might not have a closed circulation.
I suppose they have better obs, I do see one from 190 degrees:

But without westward winds over Cuba, more definitive than 190 degrees, it would not be closed. I wish recon could get closer. They are at operational altitude, but they are flying NW well away. I don't know if they are going home or just paralleling the coast for now. |
