Well... the mid level ridge can be clearly seen on your steering pic. That's what steering it towards the WNW. However, the ridge changes with height depending on the depth of the storm. Remember steering per guidance shows it holding through the forecast period. Or it would curve out to sea well east of the Bahamas per GFDL ensembles. Trough / weakness lies across mainly Fl. |
