| Hugo was a rare cane to move northwest after Puerto Rico and speed up and stay on that course until it hit s carolina, it was just timing as it is with any hurricane, had it been a couple of days later it most likely would have missed s Carolina but it was a horrible storm. It really is a rare thing for a major hurricane to strike that's why most of them do recurve away. It has just been so long for the United states now so we always have to be on guard |
