The flooding on the street in front of my house was the worst it has ever been. The rain just came so fast, around 2.69 inches according to my rain gauge, perhaps in about 40 to 45 minutes. The rain gauge could have been sheltered some. (Another neighbor thought they got a few inches more than that, but I don't know for certain they cleared their gauge.) The flooding around the golf course has been a bit worse before in a tropical storm when the bay was high and fresh water and salt water flooded this area. (I waited until the strongest weather past, it was higher at the front entrance earlier, perhaps as high as it ever has been.) This was all fresh water though. The fresh water couldn't drain fast enough into the canal my neighborhood is on. There were kayaks and inner tubes in my neighborhood today. (The people inner tubing were being reckless, going too fast near parked cars that might be flooded now.)
