I wanted to ask you about your notifications problem. You probably already did this, but go to this link:

Under "You'll receive:"
Select "All notifications, except the ones you unsubscribe from"
Under "You've unsubscribed from emails about:"
Click "Turn On" next to everything you want to received. Maybe temporarily, turn on everything.
That should allow you to get notifications that come into your Inbox. For messages that go to "Other" in the top left corner of your inbox, you will not receive notifications. If you have a problem where messages from people you know end up there too much then on this page:

Under "Whose messages do I want filtered into my Inbox?"
Select "Basic Filtering - Recommended"
You probably already did that.
Facebook does have so many options.
And thinking further, I realize that you also have to do that for your page:

When logged in and after you switch to managing your page, go to near the top right corner and you should see "Settings". Click it. (Lots of new pages with settings!)
Then in the left column, click "Notifications". A whole new page of notification settings! I've never been there before, and I am not totally sure how they work.
Under "On Facebook"
I would select "Get a notification each time there is activity on your Page or an important Page update."
Although, I think that is just notifications in the top right corner they are talking about. On mine everything is turned on, meaning a link to "Turn Off" is next to everything.
The important options, maybe, might be what comes next:
Under "Messages"
Select "Get a notification each time your Page receives a message."
Under "Email"
Select "Get an email each time there is activity on your Page or an important Page update."
I don't know specifically what those do in terms of getting an email to you, but I would make sure both are on for now. |
