Problem with this system is rain. Doesn't matter if it ever attains the proper characteristics of a nameable storm. This thing is going to dump an unholy amount of rain on a part of Texas that just got devastated by historic flooding. I hope folks in and around the north and central Texas gulf coast are preparing right now rather than waiting to see if NHC officially designates it a TC before taking it seriously.
