Thank you AquaRN.
Currently here we are having light rain showers. At Springmaid Pier in Myrtle Beach the winds are out of the North at approximately 17mph with gusts to 24 mph. Not bad so all.
I am thankful that this is not July, August, September or early October.....for if it was and Ana was sitting over the warm Gulf Stream this area would be in a great danger.....as I fear we would looking at a major hurricane.
I remember Hurricane Hugo all too well. After leaving Puerto Rico Hugo hit the warm Gulf Stream and ramped to a Cat. 4 before making landfall at Sullivan's Island. |
