Hi all, Just wanted to give you a report from The Big Island of Hawaii. Mt. Mauna Kea. It stands a little more than 13,500 ft. above sea level. The first week in March and I have not heard of official reports but the news was saying at the summit there was 10 feet of snow. On a news clip they showed a pretty tall snow blowing truck trying to clear the road to the summit. At that point it still had a couple of days work to get to the top. The snowbanks were 13 ft. + |
