Re: Verizon FIOS drops The Weather Channel permanently

For some reason I had thought AccuWeather already had their own newtork until I read that it was just starting. I guess I got it confused with other networks. I seem to recall them providing weather video to various networks and maybe that is what I was thinking of.

They really should have two separate Weather Channel's. One with simply weather all the time and then a second that can have all the other weather reality/documentary/other programming. Until now I didn't realize that The Weather Channel had agreed last year to have more live coverage. At least they don't show taped programming any more late at night. (as in recorded live earlier in the night and then just repeated later, which was insane)

I did like to see weather around the country and the world on TWC. I did tune in a lot this winter season to see all the snow and to see them use their funny names.
