If that had been Hanna's tree, we'd all be celebrating at Hanna's house for Christmas.
By the time I help several neighbors decorate their houses for Christmas and bake hundreds of Christmas cookies for people (which took over two days this year), I get too lazy to decorate my house at all. (The lights around palm trees I did at one house keep slipping and about three or four times I have had to go up on a ladder and fix them. Lights can be a pain to keep operating too.) I used to decorate a lot at my house. (outside, where about a third of the time something would get stolen or broken, and sometimes I would decorate a whole bunch inside too) Now we don't even put up a tree. There is a small tree I would like to put up each year, but there is no telling where it is. I was too lazy to look for it.
I like those Charlie brown looking trees. If I ever put up a real tree, I would probably ask for the sorriest looking tree in the lot. Ornaments kind of stand out nicely on a tree like that. |
