I thought I saw that image correctly on the news tonight but I was busy fixing a bowl of cake and ice cream and some hot chocolate (that was my version of insanity tonight) that I didn't think I saw it correctly.

A lot of incredible images on social media. From doors and windows broken, time lapse videos of the clouds coming in, epic snow drifts, etc. Some of those tweets are hilarious too.

I just love the hash tag #snowvember. See TWC, you don't need to name everything. Social media is doing just fine without you.

Blizzard surfing is something I have not seen before. Maybe someone will try sand skiing next. What other crazy stuff can we come up with?

And stick around after the blizzard surfing video for the panda video. I saw that on the news tonight too:

My dad was saying they should have given him a sled to see what he'd do, but he didn't really need one!

I had never though of having to shovel residential roofs after a snow storm. What do you do first? Shovel the driveway, then the roof, then the driveway again? No, best to shovel the roof off first perhaps so if you fall off the roof you have a nice comfy blanket of snow to fall on. Then do the driveway if you can still find it. I see some places with snow up to the middle of the second story with the drifts. I guess one story house people are really in trouble. The snow might simply be level with the roof. Some people have trouble finding their car in the snow, imagine not being home and trying to find your house. Although even snow plows are getting stuck, so I don't think anyone is really going anywhere anytime soon. Too much snow to move, must wait for the melt. Looks like by Saturday in that region there will be some above freezing temps. Highs in the mid to upper 50s perhaps by Monday.
