So I should cross Alaska off the list if I ever wanted to move somewhere that didn't have hurricane force winds.

Here are the links to the tidal stations in that part of Alaska:

Storm surge, cold rain and high wind. Snow possible further north on mainland Alaska. It looks like most of the Aleutian Islands will get rain, aside from some higher elevations.

I found one NWS point forecast in the far western Aleutians that has the following forecast.

Friday
Rain. The rain could be heavy at times. Patchy fog before noon. High near 45. Southeast wind 55 to 60 mph becoming southeast 65 to 70 mph in the afternoon. Winds could gust as high as 85 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%.

Friday Night
Rain. Low around 41. Southwest wind around 70 mph, with gusts as high as 85 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%.
