I was starting to think the GFS was losing its mind with the things it was trying to develop, but then this morning everything really started coming alive across the basin. It still might be too bullish long term.
But 90L is starting to spin and look better. (Visible: http://www.ssd.noaa.gov/PS/TROP/floaters/90L/flash-vis-short.html ) Recon may investigate it Sunday.
"2. OUTLOOK FOR SUCCEEDING DAY: POSSIBLE LOW LEVEL INVEST
NEAR 15.5N 57.0W AT 12/1730Z."
Since the 0Z GFS run, the model continues to take it near/over Puerto Rico.
