Shear doesn't look as bad as it did yesterday over Bahamas. Some southwest shear could effect it as it gets closer to Cuba but I've seen much worse the last couple years. There's little enough shear where this thing should be able to become a TS and hold its strength.

Also you'll see models start to converge as we get a definitive center and as the trough to the front lifts. If it's going to move north and get caught up by the trough, it has to do it soon. It's digging down pretty deep down now but is forecast to begin lifting the next 48 hours. So we should have an answer soon on the track.
