It does. The system is so large too. The center is small, but the size of the system seems so large. Been awhile, I can't recall how often things are that large that low in latitude.

Kind of seems odd that there is still only an orange X on the NHC front page for development with 48 hours. I have to remind myself to check the NHC front page in case it were to get an upgrade at 11pm. If not, by 2am I expect a much higher chance through 48 hours and an increase in 5 days too. Maybe because it is so large the winds might take a little bit longer to make it a named storm. The NHC's best track update at 0Z (8pm) increased it to 30mph from 25 mph. About 10 mph to go until a named storm.
