GulfBreezeGirl (Gal?), if you're reading this, or really anyone else who can post comments on Pensacola News Journal online articles (I can't because I'm a Facebook holdout), I hope you will all lay into Will Isern, who wrote this piece of garbage tonight:

It truly infuriates me. This is likely to appear in tomorrow's print and online editions, unless the reporter gets some smarts and actually READS the National Hurricane Center's discussion indicating the system will likely deteriorate into a remnant low long before becoming any kind of threat.
If I were a beach hotel or other business owner here, I'd be setting Isern's pants on fire. Disgusting!!! They used to post reporters' email addresses on their online articles but no more. Lucky for him, or he'd be getting an earful from me in his Inbox tonight.
Sorry, but this kind of thing just makes me crazy, for the "cry wolf" effect if nothing else. Grrrr. |
