Aw thanks Cypress... late March in Nola is good? Good to know..

There are so many old family legends that sometimes become corrupt especially when two or three people remember Grandpa James or Grandma Mary said ___________________ about some hurricane.

A lady I spoke to a while back swears she remembers having some serious hurricane in the Tampa area for a year that never happened. Was a great story. Sure it happened tho maybe was a tropical depression or her year was off...  She's old, sweet. Moral remains... they lived on outskirts of town and had no running water, used well water... and no electricity. After the hurricane passed life just went back to normal...  not like now days when people freak waiting for running water and electricity and cable and TWC to all come back on ... etc...

Heard a story a while back that someone moved somewhere for work... no jobs, etc and they were leaving their husband and moved up north to...  After their grandchildren did research it seems they were living down south and a storm came thru... it was her real reason for leaving as their house was blown away and SEC was offering train rides out of town to whoever wanted them. She did... husband said he'd join her and well......... you know the rest of the story.
