no, not bad at all for our area, I was ecstatic & up watching the rain even at midnight  - we got between 1.5"-2" where we live - some areas had over 6" & others had tornado damage, so not so much fun for them, but still, the rain was badly needed

I read this in a SciGuy tweet:  "It's been 16 months (9/7/10) since NOAA issued flash flood warnings in Houston"  - that's just insane in a city that usually has many more  http://blog.chron.com/sciguy/

I hope we continue to have rain through the winter & into next summer, we lost a lot of trees after last summer.  It will be interesting to see the updated drought maps this week
