Based off of a lifetime of studying and living through storms here in the Fl Panhandle, at a practical level, I have seen storm after storm miss their ride outta town. If I were on the East coast, I wouldn't be waiting and countin on that front, Earl is gonna get too close for comfort. If he misses his ride, it will be too late for too many. I would be making my plans and working on gettin outta his way til he was long gone. I just don't trust models with my life.
