Question for the experts on the board........

What type of damage would Earl cause along the central coast? Especially, the Myrtle Beach area of North Carolina. My parents just called me with concerns regarding their home along the coast there. I told them that I would post the question on the board here. Since I live in the Keys, my parents think I am experienced with dealing with the more powerful hurricanes. NOT! Hence the name hurricanewizard, when the big canes come my way, I disappear! :-) Thanks fellow Caners.
