| One of the great break through's in TC track forecasting has been understanding Potential Vorticity (PV) Advection. A result of those studies has been the famous CIMSS steering flows many of us have used to estimate a TC's track. Along these lines, take a look at PV forecast for Earl. Top image is where he is now. Bottom image in 100 hrs.   |
