Interesting hot spot south of Jamaica.

It is also coincident with a positive sea height anomoly (SHA).

Interesting too, is the SHA in the EPAC especially from 90 to 110W.

For the last few days, some persistant stratiform precip has been firing in low shear with an UL anti-cyclone.
