I am listening to a radio station where this topic was brought up.  The person on the radio said someone sent him pictures that showed no snow but it looked like patches of snow on one of the other peaks.  I wrote to a TV station in HI and ask if in fact there is or is not snow that has fallen on one of the other peaks.  I will post the answer asa (as soon as) I get a response
