Re: The last scheduled night launch of a space shuttle

No fun I had the perfect view of the shuttle, could not have asked for more, nine minutes left to lift off and a man stepped out of his Winnebago and said the mission has been scrubbed.     I met some people that came from Ft. Lauderdale.

I just pulled onto the medium facing the shuttle about 3:38 am, it was south of the shuttle just before the second bridge leading to Cape Canaveral, there was almost no  traffic the entire trip going there.

I waited for traffic to leave before left my spot about 5:40 am got home about 9:30 am.  I was amazed how orderly the traffic leaving flowed.

I would love to go tonight but I need sleep.
