Eye has vanished from satellite, but is still apparent in microwave imagery so they didn't change the intensity. This is where I WISH we had RECON in the EPAC. It would be awesome to see the actual intensity of Jimena.
Major intensification is still forecast. SSTs are north of 30... around 31-32C and there's next to no shear at the mid or upper levels.
New track guidance is further east too |
