With loss of daylight it's tough to see exactly what's going on. Being nothing drastic is likely any time soon - if I were up north I'd not worry about it till tomorrow morning. But for curiosity's sake - the water vapor loop is intriguing.

It looks like banding is forming around the displaced convection area - hinting the possibility of a new system. A new system should head north then out to sea - missing New England completely.

Whatever the case, Danny is for the near-term little more than a curiosity. The NHC will update their track at 11pm so we'll see their thinking soon.

We're really in a lull until daylight tomorrow.
