"PLOW"
In the South: A farm implement.
In the North: A snow removal device. Also used as a verb; e.g. "a snow storm is going to plow into the Northeast"; or, "a nor'easter is going to plow up the coast."
I was just using my Yankee vernacular, LOL. I may live in NC but my "home" is MD/DC/DE - and am much more accustomed to nor'easters than hurricanes.
And speaking of which, Danny, after passing NC should transform from a tropical type system to a nor'easter type system.
Should be a good one - if he makes it.
Cheers,
Tim in NC
