Jim,

I don't think recon will find much more than an open wave with strong winds mostly in the convection eastside. If and when this system forms a closed circulation it will be on the westside. That's where the main mid-level turning is through 700mb. There's even some evidence on visible sat of cumulus streamers rotating around the broad area of low pressure.

Development will be very slow, as a vigorous ULL is embedded in the wave. Lastly, a big reversal in the upper pattern must occur before we see any real strengthening of 92L.
