Was Bill Just the Warmup Pitcher?

Good morning. Although I'm not an 80 year-old man, my sleep habits, thanks to the black dog - are similar. Anyway - I was just studying the models to see if there was anything of interest down the road and oh boy is there!

First we have that yellow box out there. The CMC winds that sucker up and takes it on a course that grinds up the East Coast:

Then...for dessert, we have the good 'ole GFS which at this hour gives us another storm with an identical East Coast track late the first week of September!

I would note one thing - our troughiness pattern in the East continues to persist throughout the GFS's range but from hereon with less intensity - so it may just be that whatever forms in the Atlantic is going to be steered towards the Atlantic Coast - but with less opportunity for an early exit.

Seeing the possibility at least - of multiple strikes on the coast - I think it may be wise for those in full complacency mode to wake up. I know I just did...
