The NWS New Orleans office, the Mississippi coast forecast, and now the Mobile forecast office are all hinting that they see some tropical activity (even if only in wave form and enhanced rainfall) between Saturday night and Monday into Tuesday.
I asked the board yesterday, did anyone know the source of all these ideas.
The yellow box tells me these guys might all be on to something.
The flare up looks interesting, just north of Haiti. It is moving off the to the WNW and W.
Let's see if it stays consistent. The models see nothing, but a carry over of precipitation (undeveloped) moving into the LA/MS/AL coast areas on early Sunday into late Sunday or early Monday.
We shall see. |
