Extra Delayed Start of Season

Looking at the NHC website I see TD #2 was initially forecast to get a name on Aug 12th 0600Z. Then it was pushed back to 1200Z; then pushed again to 1800Z.
After a close call where naming was imminent, TD #2's was pushed back again, this time to Aug 13th, 0000Z. This afternoon, development has been pushed back yet again - now to the 13th at 0600Z.
The fuse on this baby just won't light. I'm only going to laugh if I see the next update pushing it back yet again.
And as an aside, with the huge amount of lightning along the southern Mid-Atlantic coast today - what more does this thing want? (Perhaps we're too far away for a coupling?)
