Typically .... or will it be?

Typically, systems that develop this far east, and this high in latitude, travel WNW, NW and into the deep blue of the North Atlantic.

Typically .....

This year hasn't bee typical and in the face of blasting westerlies, an extremely strong Azores and Bermuda high, I don't know what to make of it.

The GFS takes the historical line, and draws the system northwest.  The CMC takes the system due west, to near Barbados.

With the system still 4000+ miles from where I sit, and more than 2000+ miles from Barbados, we all have plenty of time to watch this one.

Final thought ..... too many times this year we lost sight of the ever-present El-Nino conditions, and thought things should have happened to blobs that "usually" happen.  In this case, I think Ana is finally here, but that's about it.  Where she goes is history's guess.
