No problem.
Surface pressures have been high for a long time in the GOM and probably still will be for at least another week.
I was thinking something may break in the west Carib yesterday; but pressures have gone back up there as well.
For something to develop in an area, pressures have to be relatively low.
However, they can be high when a TC moves into that area.
