The strong convection is a pure MCS firing in about 35 knots of shear.

There is no LL vorticity with this.

NHC actually tags the closest wave at 42W.

It has been firing almost all day which is a good sign SAL and subsidence in the area are letting up.

We could see the wave NHC currently tagged at 19W do something when it gets in this area.

Depends now on what El-Nino does and what is going on in the EPAC.

98E was just upgraded to a TD.
