Looks like it is going poof though.

Surface winds have stopped converging.

Synoptically, the only convergence regimes I see in the Atlantic right now are the BOC / SE GOM and the area SW of the mid-Atlantic TUTT.

BOC & TUTT are under high shear.

SE GOM has low shear.
Watching if anything fires up there; however no vorticity and tagged as a dry surface trough.
MSLP = 30.02"

Also see a surface trough over the Cat5 Generator.
More mid-level moisture there.
Shear however too high.

No really good forward momentum theta-e feeds going thru these regimes however.
