| Temps near Beijing in northern China as high as 41.9 C which is about 107F. So we're not the only ones baking. Of course our heat wave has lasted longer (along northern gulf coast). Yesterday in Lafayette, La. we hit 102F. No signs of any big let up for awhile. Hot temps to last for at least another week.
