I'll add that to the list. My list of todo's:

Chat room (first one I build will be extremely basic with absolutely no features, then I'll work on something more permanent with some help from someone else probably)
Have a notice on the front page next to each post that notes what message has new replies since your last visit. (Need to study cookies, but not the kind I just baked and am eating now, lol.)
Then I'll look into RSS.
